SKAMBA SKAMBA KANKLIAI

23−26 May 2024

Lithuanian folklore groups and individual performers are invited to take part in the festival events!

Skamba skamba kankliai attracts nearly 2,000 performers and 15,000 spectators every year. We are always looking for not only new forms of events, but also new artists!

The oldest folklore festival in Lithuania

The festival has been held in Vilnius since 1973 and is one of the few authentic music festivals in Europe.

We encourage the discovery of ethnic culture

Our goal – growing attention to the traditional culture of Lithuanian and foreign countries.

By fostering traditions, we aim to present them in a modern, innovative, and professional way.

The festival is an opportunity to establish contacts between performers, folklorists, the audience, and to promote cultural tourism.
