International folklore festival “Skamba skamba kankliai” 2026 programme

From May 26–31, Vilnius Old Town will once again come alive with traditional music, dance, and cultural heritage during the international folklore festival “Skamba skamba kankliai”!

This long-running festival celebrates authentic folk traditions from Lithuania and abroad inviting everyone to become part of the experience. Performances by Lithuanian folklore groups, guests from Ukraine, Estonia, Romania and Portugal, evening of singing and traditional dances, opportunity to explore Lithuanian polifonic songs Sutartinės and many other opportunities to experience living traditions up close during the final days of spring.
