From May 29 to June 1, Vilnius hosted the International folklore festival “Skamba, skamba kankliai”, gathering folk music enthusiasts from across Lithuania and abroad. The festival opened with Vilnius folklore ensembles performances on the Neris river , turning the River into a living musical path, while traditional events like Open-air performances of sutartinės in Bernardinai garden celebrated the harmony of music and nature. Practitioners and researchers of central Polish music traditions, "Kapela Niwinskich" bring the melodies of Radom and Opočno regions to life, accompanied by the expressive voice of Maria Siwiec, one of Poland’s most authentic traditional singer
